Mini Future City: Communication and Sharing, Green and Safe

An elementary school should be a miniature city, where children gain knowledge as well as the important skills of communication and sharing, preparing children to become great future citizens.  The competition winning design provides quality space that encourages students to play along corridors, to observe those on different floors, and to connect the indoors with outdoors.  The use of exterior shading elements and openings between classrooms provides natural air circulation across the campus, minimizing energy consumption for cooling, and creating comfortable spaces for spontaneous activities.  Camphor trees are used as specimen trees, which will grow with students and become part of their memory.  A large green slope connects the sports fields and the courtyards, serving as both a playful element and sound buffer for the classrooms.

The site program includes a 3000 student elementary school with standard 300 meter running track and a natatorium, as well as a children’s center and district service center, on a modest site.  The campus master plan took advantage of the site’s trapezoid shape, using the north-south oriented running track as a link between the private teaching area and public facilities.

迷你城市,未来,色彩,安全,绿色,生态,共享

总平面设计构思:项目用地红线整体上成梯形布局,东西走向,用地东侧较西侧略窄。整体设计时,便以东侧为主要设计教学区,以让出足够长度的用地用于设置标准300m长度的运动场。

同时,考虑学校与社区分时段使用及共同管理的缘故,将学校的综合楼置于用地的最西侧,综合楼沿街设置,当中的所有设施,均可在非课时对社区开放,以更好地提高利用效率。

景观规划融入总体设计概念中“迷你城市,未来,色彩,安全,绿色,生态,共享”的构思,注重校园景观的科技教育,生态教育及环境教育作用,充分利用场地的现有景观条件,最大限度的创造符合使用需求的活动空间及美化校园环境绿化空间。校园景观环境创造力求能够激发学生游戏,认知的兴趣,趣味性,美观性,生态性,科技型和信息性结合,形成一个趣味丰富的校园活动场所。
